Kailash Mota
Mr. Kailash Mota has a diverse background in senior management positions across various private sector companies in India, where he specialized in accounting, finance management, auditing, taxation, administration & human resources, portfolio management of capital markets, stock broking, and consulting. He was also a practicing chartered accountant, providing tax and audit services.
In addition, he worked as a faculty member and students’ coordinator for professional courses such as CA, CS, and CWA under the aegis of Hubli branch of the institute of chartered accountants of India. He later moved to Mombasa, Kenya, where he served as a Chief Finance Officer for a business conglomerate with interests in petroleum wholesale & retail distribution, oil trading, bunkering operations, ship repairs & dry-docking, hospitality, and real estate for 15 years (1999-2014). He also worked as head-internal audit for an international supply chain & logistics group, headquartered in Dubai (UAE), in the year 2014-2015.
As an author, he has successfully published two biographies. The first book, “Guru-A Long Walk to Success,” is an autobiography of Dr. Narendra Raval, the Founder & Chairman of Devki Group of Companies. It was launched in 2018 and received critical acclaim, being recognized as a best-seller by Bloomsbury Publishing India. The second book, “From The Village To The World,” was released in January 2023 and tells the inspiring story of Man Patolia. Manubhai’s journey began in the village of Taravada in Gujarat and took him to San Francisco in 1969 with only 75 cents in his pocket. The book traces his life over the next five decades, ultimately reaching his business zenith.
In his capacity as a dedicated headhunter and recruiter, he played a pivotal role in co-founding Mota & Sons Ventures Ltd (MSVL Group). Over the course of the past seven years, he has been instrumental in placing senior and middle management professionals for various corporate entities across the African continent.
He holds certification as a career counselor, having undergone training from Edumilestones, a highly esteemed institution for career counseling in India. Utilizing his specialized knowledge, he has provided valuable guidance to numerous students and professionals, aiding them in achieving their educational and career objectives
